For Today, let talk about the IQ Tour Solid. In my previous post about the Crux, I mentioned the IQ Tour Solid as a symmetrical complement to my control drilled Crux. Actually, I described it the other way around, but you get the point; they compliment each other. On most house shots I find the IQ Tour Solid to be very smooth with generally good carry. My highest series to date with Storm equipment (748) was bowled with the IQ Tour Solid. However, I find it sometimes wants to read the friction a little early, so I am letting the lane shine it up a little. Keeping it clean, but the surface is a little over 4000 grit now.
So what does this mean for IQ Tour Solid and my arsenal? With the 5 inch pin to pap and 50+ VAL angle, I don't consider it a benchmark ball; but on a medium condition that plays over/under it is my go to ball to smooth out the lane.
